Keurig Storage Solution

3D Printing Solutions

After months of waiting for my CR 6-SE to get shipped after backing it on Kickstarter, I finally owned my first 3D printer! With this one machine, I started to look for problems to solve around the house. The first problem: Overflowing K-cups on the counter.

Finding a Solution

My mom loves her Keurig, which results in her having boxes of K-Cups near her Mini Keurig on the counter. Instead of having this mess, I came up with a solution that would help keep some K-Cups close to the Keurig without having to constantly dig into boxes when she wanted a coffee.

Designing

When sketching my initial ideas, I wanted to have the storage rack sit on the Keurig without impeding any of the functions. Additionally, maximizing the storage was a key objective so that the storage would be useful instead of tedious.

In Use

The final design took over a day to print, meaning going from idea to implementation only took one weekend. The K-Cup storage ended up being a huge success, getting used every day and greatly decreased the random boxes on the counter!
